Quality education

Education is an issue that since 2006 is the talk of the town. I was in my first year of high school, and really I didn´t understand a lot. However, in some way I was part of the movement, what let me know, from inside, how the things runs. I could see there are some people who belive that a change is possible, sadly they are minority; the most of people follow them because different arguments: they believe that it is funny, can be a new experience, they can don´t go class. That´s why I have mixed feelings about manifestation. Obviously, I think education needs a change, but I differ with the way to do the thing. If the people that march did all their homework, read all their papers and books, and pay attention and go all their classes, I would believe and take part of them. My proposal is all students do the right thing in all aspects, I mean, arriving on time, doing the homework, contributing in class, etc. The change must be do in the classroom, face to face with the teacher, not in streets screaming to wind.

Monarch Butterfly

           When I was reading my book 1,000 Places to See Before You Die, I knew about  Monarch Butterfly Biosphere Reserve, which in 2008 was declared heritage of humanity. It was created for preserving the enviroment where monarch butterfly lives. This kind of butterfly is well-known by its annual migration, that doesn´t occur in another insect in the world. The butterfly comes to this area to hibernate, then flies north, while traveling it deposits her eggs, which when become in a butterfly, also travel north like continuing along the route. Because the temperature changes produced in late summer, occur a behavior change in butterflies adults who  return to the South. The journey is longer than the life cycle of a butterfly, so there are organizations responsible for studying this phenomenon: how new monarch butterfly is guided. Nowadays the reserve is being afectaed by illegal logging.

         Talk about politics is not easy, you must take many things into consideration, one of those is the receiver. Is there anything more unpleasant that talking with a standard bearer? Whatever is their color. I mean, you cannot give out the point of view of a momia or a comunacho if you have an opinion wholly or, even, partially different from them, so it's nice to know that this comment will not get a person like that. Now, being honest, it's not much what I have to say about politics, it isn´t a subject that I love, but not because simply I don´t like it, but because I had the chance to meet up close and it is not a clean atmosphere, they know each other, they are all friends and they look after betwen them. Well, that's no news to anyone, is it ? Beyond that I know or not, what strikes me is the high percentage that Michelle Bachelet has in the polls ( 31%) , I ask myself, with all due respect, what  is passing through their minds ? To give just one example: his first presidential campaign, which she won in 2005, was based on an argument as poor as " being a woman."  For women of today, that's not even an issue, it's so normal that even sex is something that shouldn´t be discussed. I am surprised for a person who goes through life with that kind of argument, has so much support by people, and I am not suprise for hers bad arguments (all of politicians have bad and populist arguments); I'm surprised for there are people who follow her.
